On August 23, 2024, the Faculty of Business at Universitas Setia Budi (USB) conducted a benchmarking activity at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST) in Yogyakarta. The event, themed "Quality Assurance Implementation," aimed to strengthen the academic quality assurance systems and share best practices between the two faculties in achieving superior educational standards.
The USB delegation, consisting of six quality assurance team members and led by the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr. Didik Setyawan, SE., M.Sc., MM., was warmly welcomed by Dr. Suyanto, S.E., M.Si., AWP., Dean of the Faculty of Economics UST. Discussions focused on the implementation of quality assurance systems, the role of the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (SPMF) in the accreditation process, and the adaptation of new curricula in line with the latest regulations. The dialogue also touched on the integration of local cultural values into the curriculum and the unique pedagogical approaches of both institutions.
The event concluded with the signing of a cooperation document and the exchange of mementos between the two faculties.
